Grant Writing and Proposal Development
Algonquin Consultants obtained over $4 million in funding for various organizations in 2009-2010 from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, the US Department of Energy, the US Environmental Protection Agency, the US Department of Health and Human Services, and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Funds received will allow for:
Construction of 26 high-energy-efficiency housing units
Substantial rehabilitation and weatherization of at least 50 homes
Weatherization training certified by the Department of Energy’s weatherization program
Installation of tankless hot water heaters in low-income homes
Energy audits for tribal buildings
Environmental education professional development for teachers and other educators
Emergency services to at-risk children
